Idlebackup is a powerful yet easy to use backup tool for both novice and professional users that allows you to backup and restore data. This incredible program allows you to make manual or automatic backups (with a set interval time) when your computer is idle. The program includes 3 backup modes: a mirror backup , a full backup zipped, and a sequential backup zipped. In the mirror backup the selected directories and/or files are copied to a set backup path without being compressed. The full backup zipped works like the mirror backup, but everything is copied to one zip file or a zip file for each selected directory. In the sequential backup zipped, everything is copied to a new zip file with a timestamp, which can be done automatically with a set interval of 1-98 day. The program also includes an option called "Synchronize backup" which allows you to remove unused files, so only files that are also present on the source hard-disk are kept. In Automatic mode, the program works invisibly in the background, and only if the computer is idle (no keys,mouse actions detected).
